Hi guys,
I have fitted a 7segment led display for the nav1 active frequency and wanted a simple setup with an encoder to control the active frequency.

I can only seen to get the encoder to change the standby frequency not the active...any ideas?
Im using the event id's for nav 1 dec whole, nav1 inc whole. Then nav1 dec fract and nav1 inc fract.

Thanks
Les

The active frequency can not be changed, it must be done by means of standby and then change them ...

Good Question.... I not try out this for Nav1

Basicly "dhernan" is right.... In Real ( and in FSX) the Frequencys are never changedon Active.... You Change the Standby and you "swap" it.

But "maby" you can check the offset itself

0350 2 NAV1 frequency, 4 digits in BCD format. A frequency of
113.45 is represented by 0x1345. The leading 1 is assumed.
Ok-SimC Ok-SimE

Looks like its writeable

If you like you can try to write this Offset. Just find out a Input logic !
Good Luck !

Ah,

Ok thanks guys, on some aircraft it changes the active on some it changes the standby!
I guess the thing to do for both realism and to be practical is to wire in led segments for both and a push button to swap the active and standby freqs?
Would anyone be able to give me the event id to swap? (Fs2004)

Thanks in advance
Les
