I am running FX SE and trying to complete the Parking Brake tutorial which lights the LED. The MF Connector with Mega connected has the green tick on Modules and a green tick on FSUIPC. When I hit the Test button the LED flashes on and off. When I hit the Run button there is no response from the LED and no response from the Cessna 172 parking brake. There is also no change to the Output Value. It remains at 32767. What am I doing wrong?

If LED flashes in Test Mode then your electrical setup "should" be OK.
If Value is shown not Zero 0 ( in your case 32767) then a connection to FSUIPC should be good, too. (Else it normaly show 0)

Please tell me....Do you change the status of brake VIRTUAL in the Sim ( By clicking the Mouse on the Brake or by pushing a button on Keyboard ) OR do you try to change the brake with a self build INPUT Button??

Please change the Brake status in the SIM ( not with a INPUT by Mobiflight) ..... What happens now ??
Does the shown FSUIPC Vallue change from 32767 to 0 when the brake is OFF in the Sim now ?

I use the "." to activate and deactivate the Parking Brake in FSX SE and the Parking Brake works perfectly. I have found that if the focus is on FSX and not on the MFConnector then keying "." makes the LED turn on and off each time I key "." If the MFConnecter is the focus then the "." does not work. I think that the tutorial must emphasise that FSX must have the focus when testing?

If you focus Mobiflight connector (NOT FSX) and you push the "." Button..... then it not change the LED ( Thats what i understand)
BUT.... Does it change the Brake status in the "NON Focused" FSX SE window ?

Basicly.... Mobiflight should show the status of FSX function (like Parking Brake ) Whatever FSX is focused or not .

Simple example....
Read out the ALTITUDE Offset.... Start a climb (maby by Autopilot) and now get focus away from FSX to Mobiflight Connector.....
In the non active FSX Window the plane already climb and the altiitude will increase.... And Mobiflight MUST see that and the readout Offset must increase, too.

So Please confirm....
Your problem is only that a INPUT command ( for example the "."Button is only recive when FSX is focused.
OR
Does the command executed in the backround, too ( When FSX is not in focus) but THEN Mobiflight NOT see the changings ??

If second is true then we need to investigate that !
