Hi happy,

so far as I understand you, is, that your 8 modules 7-segment-display won't work.

Please not that there are some points to note:

If you daisy-chain the MAX7219-module you have to wire every module with +5V directly. As an alternative you can remove the diode (D1) from every board and wire-bridge them. then the direct wiring is obsolete.

If you need further infos plese use the search function in this forum and search for 'daisy chain'.
Please report your experiences
Grüße,
Stephan (Time: UTC+2)

Hi....
Just to prevent additional request.....

Mostly this is a power problem like stepahn said already.....

If there is no function after you change electrical setup like recommend then we have 2 possible issues

1. You make a wrong setting.
Please get shure you set the Displays correct in the devices Tab of Mobilfight.... If you use a chain you must define this when you create the device ( NUM Dropdown box)

2. Get shure your connectors on the Maxtubes are working..... If 1. Display is working correct then the LEFT Input Connectors are 100% OK..... If Second Display not work then maby the INPUT Connectors of THIS Display are broke OR the OUTPUT Connectors of the First Display are broke and not send signals to the second !

I high recomend to check the Displays single !!! Make a Config with only ONE Display and wire every Display 1 time on it.... If all Work the all INPUT Connectors are fine.
Then make a Config with 2 Displays and test all your Displays one time on the FIRST POSITION in the Row (While you monitoring a test on the Second)
Then You know... IF the Second Display show Data then the FIRST Display have a 100% correct working OUTPUT Connector !

Summary....
A ) Check your electrical setup
B ) Check your software Device settings
C ) Check functionaltiy of all Displays for the INPUT and OUTPUT connectors single !
Good Luck !
