MobiFlight Community Support

I have been using MobiFlight for some time now and love it. I already have 5 Arduino Megas running my PMDG 737. :-)

I am having a problem though and based on some of my research it may be something people have experienced before but the fix is not working for me. Specifically, when I flip a switch or press a button, it doesn't always detect that action in MobiFlight. The exception to this is when I have Debug level logging enabled. In reading back through the forums, it looks like a fix was implemented in a previous release of the software but I am still having this problem, even running version 7.4 of the software. I am hoping there is something else I am missing as I hate leaving the debug level that high because it makes using my numerous rotary encoders pretty difficult, but without it, my button presses and switch movements are not reliable. Any help or guidance would be great.

Thats not 100%correct.

Sebastian any myself try to solve this with lots of testruns and Beta Versions.... But he can NOT SOLVE it !
Situation is already... On HIS System there is no problem.... Only on my Computer ( and yours and some other users)
it´s realy hard for him to find a problem that not exist on his system.

After weeks of testing he stop that project and until now he not startup again.... ( i think he was realy suck about that )
I know he said the new release ( think it was 7.2) should solve it... but it dosnt´t !

Recommend solution.
"Maby" we can solve it in the future.... Maby Not.
If you need a prefect working System i would use a alternate Input technic like LeoBodnar or Joystick Controllers.
If you not like to make ALL the stuff outside of Mobiflight then i recommend to only make the STATIC Inputs with that technic ( Rotary Switches and ON/OFF (On) latching switches.
The Problem is still present in momentary buttons.... BUT In that Case the Button in Your Homecockpit NOT show a wrong state.... it just not activate the function.
That means you Push it... But the Green Light not gets on.... So You push it simply 2.nd time or 3.rd time.
A Latching Switch or a rotary Switch is more problematic cause it shows physical position but "maby" the command not reach the sim and THATS realy problematic then !

Is there a solution for this problem yet?

I've tested two different PCs with X-Plane11, one Mega and MobiFlight version 8.0.2 and still getting missed button presses on both systems.

I'm using the mobiflight default settings for FSUIPC.

Must be a fully different Problem.

The missing Event Bug was solved 1,5 Years Ago 100%.
That no longer occure.
So all you read here and all you search related to the "Logging Debug Problem" is outdated and no longer correct.

In case we have no other reports..... Check your Hardware. And check your Configs !. Technical MF work here fine a.t.m.

Alternative wenn du die Probleme nicht lösen kannst.... Komm auf Discord. Mit Headset. Dort kann man sowas durchsprechen und findet meist schnell das Problem !
