The last config filename is not used for next Save Config.

Instead the Save Config filename always defaults to "MobiFlight Mega.mfmc"

Saving the last file name in the registry or a local parameter file would save user time and prevent accidental overwrite or loss of data.

Hi Paul,

MobiFlight always uses the name on a reboot it used last time.

If you simply press the Save button (if a change in the configuration has been made), the file will also be saved under the name displayed at the top of the window.
If you would like to save the file under a different name, simply use the File -> Save dialog. Here you can then assign a new name.

Mobiflight will start the next time with this new name.

What you describe is the Input/Output saving and File Save and the icon tooltip is "Save". The bug is not there.

The bug is in the Extras | Settings page. Click on the MobiFlight Modules tab and the Save button tooltip is "Save current config to file". That Save button always uses MobiFlight Mega.mfmc

There are two Save buttons within MobiFlightConnector which perform different operations. That is confusing as the two file streams should ideally be bound together, into a Project for example.

same procedure. If you use the wizard to save and you click on the disk-symbol there opens always an save dialog where you can change the name of the mfmc-file.

I think this is not realy needed but maby Sebastian get different intetions !

1. The used Filename
Here the point is, that Users normaly not save this file verry often. ( i think 90% of users NEVER save it)
You only need this function in 2 situations
A ) You make a Backup of your board settings in a "*.mfmc" File..... Just to have it if your Mega get broke. ( But you only do this when you complete finished your project)
B ) You need to Copy a complete Device Setting to another Board.... But this happens not often, too.

2. The Save Folder (like a project subfolder)
Thats not useable.... Cause your Boarddevices (*.mfcf) and your Config (*.mcc) are indipended.
You can use the Board for another config, too.... For example you fly with a PMDG and a Prosim B737 .... Both got a own "mcc" but both use same Boards.

Summary..... Your request make sence..... But i think it´s not needed cause this funtion is not used often and it´s already possible to change Filename ( Whatever it´s not automatical)
