Following the tutorials on the homepage I can't get the MAX7219 to display anything.

I have checked all connections to make sure they are correct. Loaded a test sketch into arduino and run it, display works fine. Tried something similar in Link2FS and that also works.

But I just can't get anything to work in Mobiflight. Need some help here please guys.

Thanks

Hi Meridian,

welcome to MobiFlight!

I need a bit more information...

Did you check the display after configuration with the TEST-button in the configuration wizard and did it show the number 12345678 or less - like configured?

Did you also change the MEGA after running the test-sketch oder if it was the same MEGA, did you reload the firmware?
Did you use the same pins you defined in your configuration?
Please check wiring, pins and configuration and be so kind to report your experiences.

Stephan (Time: UTC+2)

Hi Stephan,

I'm using an Arduino UNO.

I checked with the test button and got nothing on the display.

Reloaded the firmware and retested. Checked all connections again, all OK.

PINs are set as - CLK 7 - DIN 8 - CS 9. all match up in Mobiflight and on the board.

Hi Meridian,

sorry, but UNO is only experimental and is no longer developed.

We recommend to use an Arduino Mega or a clone of it. So you should change over.
