Firstly thanks for getting me back into building my sim.

The question I have is I only have the LED and a momentary switch (it is a light in a switch).
I did the tutorial and seem to have made a mistake somewhere.
I can set the park brake on but cannot get it turned off.
Have tried putting the on release parameters in. but it turns on and off the lever in the panel works so I know I have that right.

Any help so that I can move forward.

Regards
Peter

HI... Welcome to Mobiflight !

I can´t help you directly, cause your given informations are to poor.
So i try to show you the basics, first !

About the LED....
Here you must know the function of your switch.
"Car electronic" switches mostly use a combine System that have no direct lines for the LED..... Means the LED just light if switch is ON and stop lighting im Switch is OFF.
THAT is NOT usefull for flightsim and mobiflight. To work with that LED i high recommend to buy a switch that have a indipended System for Switch and LED.
You see that at the Pins ! It should have 2 Pins for the LED and 2 or 3 Pins for the Switch. So "Do your switch have 4 or more Pins ?? "

About the Switch itself.....
As you already know.... The Parking Brake have 2 conditions.... SET or OFF .... So your Switch should normaly have 2 Conditions too.
Normaly for Parking Brake we use a ON/OFF Non Momentary switch (latching) ....
That means.... If Switch is in ON Position then Mobiflight should SET the Brake..... If Switch is in OFF Position then Mobiflight should release the Brake !

If you have a momentary switch that not stay in ON position when you get your finger of then we need a "toggle" function. ( Normaly thats not used for parking brake)
In that case you say " If the Brake is currently ON then thet it to OFF.... OR If its currently OFF then set it to ON"

Afterall there are lot´s of different technics like "Keysend", Offsetcontroll or EventID

****
Please tell me....
What Switch do you have (Momentary or Static)
What Simulator do you use (FSX,P3D,Xplane)

Then we can help you !
Good Luck !

Ok....

You can startup and make your testings with the momentary switch, too....
Thats not realistic cause you have to hold the switch by your finger in push position manualy BUT the System is the same.....

So in your case the momentary switch is simular like a ON-OFF Switch.... Push is ON and Release is OFF.
You can set both commands in the Mobiflight Input Config of that device.

So do the tutorial again.... And use the "On Release" Field, too.... Like describe with same Offset but there with value "0" Zero instead of "1" like at on Press !

Then you will SET the Brake when you push..... It Stay in SET Position ASLONG you HOLD the Button Youreself...... And it get OFF when you release the button.
Only difference.... A Correct latching switch do the same but not must be hold all the time by youreself !
Good Luck !
