once again apologies I'm starting from scratch the construction of the 737NG cabin, based on iFly's 737Ng and I'll start like everyone I think by the Main Panel and its different modules ... thanks

Welcome to Mobiflight !

Mobiflight NOT itself change brightness of your screens !

You have to know HOW you manage this.... Do you looking forward to use ONE Big Screen behind the panel and you show the Original B737 Ifly Instruments there ?
or do you use a different technic like a additional AddOn that readout the Data and send it to external screens for example.

Basicly.....
If you use special Screens then maby the screen itself got a potentiometer on the Top where you can change brightness.
If you use just a "virtual" image of the Displays on a Monitor then you have to know.... "Is in the IFly a Virtual Encoder to change Brighness ??"

I never use Ifly .... I work with PMDG at the moment..... THERE you got a Virtual Encoder for Brightness of Virtual Displays.... You can SET this Encoder Via Mobiflight and can change the Brightness ! So if you show the Virtual Displays on a Screen in your MainPanel.... Then the Encoder change THIS Display Brighntess.

****
Summary.... think about HOW you will build this..... Then Check if your Software (Ifly) Support this !
Good Luck !

if I plan to do it with independent monitors ... one for the pilot and one for the co-pilot and two central ...
I would like to do it with the same simulator, I mean in independent windows
thank you I will check if the ifly brings it ... or you would recommend me more the 737 NG de. PMDG ??

I Not use the Ifly in the past myself..... So i can´t tell you the benefits of it. ( Maby a other user here can give you more details)

Myself i using the PMDG and can say it include nearly all Systems and work fine..... BUT it is not HighEnd !

Summary.... PMDG cost maby 70$ and is enough for hobby Pilots like we are.... For High End simulators most people work with ProSim or Magenta ( B737)
That include 99% of Systems i think and is specialy designed for Homecockpits (Better support for Displays on different Monitors).
BUT You must know this Products cost 1000$.
Good Luck !

With IFlyToFSUIPC it should be easily possible. Offset is x9400, Values 751 - 762.

751 KEY_COMMAND_INSTRUMENT_CAPT_OUTBD_DU_BRIGHTNESS_DEC
752 KEY_COMMAND_INSTRUMENT_CAPT_OUTBD_DU_BRIGHTNESS_INC
753 KEY_COMMAND_INSTRUMENT_CAPT_INBD_DU_BRIGHTNESS_DEC
754 KEY_COMMAND_INSTRUMENT_CAPT_INBD_DU_BRIGHTNESS_INC
755 KEY_COMMAND_INSTRUMENT_FO_OUTBD_DU_BRIGHTNESS_DEC
756 KEY_COMMAND_INSTRUMENT_FO_OUTBD_DU_BRIGHTNESS_INC
757 KEY_COMMAND_INSTRUMENT_FO_INBD_DU_BRIGHTNESS_DEC
758 KEY_COMMAND_INSTRUMENT_FO_INBD_DU_BRIGHTNESS_INC
759 KEY_COMMAND_INSTRUMENT_UPPER_DU_BRIGHTNESS_DEC
760 KEY_COMMAND_INSTRUMENT_UPPER_DU_BRIGHTNESS_INC
761 KEY_COMMAND_INSTRUMENT_LOWER_DU_BRIGHTNESS_DEC
762 KEY_COMMAND_INSTRUMENT_LOWER_DU_BRIGHTNESS_INC

Greetings

I want to do this, since I already have the PMGD 737NG software and built the brightness control panels, they can help me from scratch and step by step,
thank you very much and I hope your support

Hi

Here exist different technics !

FIRST: Note that Mobiflight at the moment (and near future) not support potentiometers !! Mobi also not support Repeat Commands.
So with mobiflight it is not possible to set a potentiometer ( Like the used Inputs in real plane) .... And it´s also not possible to use a non-momentary Switch like a (ON)-OFF-(ON) for that.

With Mobiflight best solution at the moment is a ENCODER that use 2 different Commands... Like On LEFT Display darker / On RIGHT Display Brighter !

Only problem here.... if you reach the "Ends" ( darkest or brightest spot) then the Encoder NOT stop physicaly..... You can already turn it but the new inputs not do anything now..... If you turn it backwards it work again.

****

Alternate is to use a Joystick Controller..... With that (and a registred payed FSUIPC version) you can work with Potentiometer or Repeat Inputs, too. But thats not via Mobiflight finaly.... it´s DIRECT internal of FSUIPC !

****
If you like to try out check the EventID from the PMDG737 List.... Check the DISP Area on Page 7-8 use the DU_ Selector Events !
Good Luck !

Thank you very much, for your response so soon. now comment that I do not have much knowledge of this, just notions you could support me in telling me how it is done, I am clear about the purchase of the FSUIPC, I already check something on the internet, but it is not very clear to me, how to connect the potentiometers to the PC , I need to take apart a keyboard? or a joystick, or a mouse, and connect them? or with the arduino mega cards can you? also check this of the arduino but with what program would it be? thanks for your support. Greetings from Mexico

As i said...A Potentiometer is not supported by Mobiflight..... So you can´t set it to the Arduino Mega ASLONG the Mega is used as a MobiflightBoard (flashed firmware)

BUT The Arduino itself support Potentiometers.... You will use the ANALOG Input pins for that.

Problem is... You need a Sketch and a Firmware (Software on Arduino) that will manage this and change the Arduinio into a HID device ( Like a Joystick).
Here MEGA is a bit problematic cause it not have this feature basicly and you have to do some work (Bootloader and so on) to get this working.
Alternate is a "ARDUINO Micro" cause THIS can easyly set into a HID device without change the main firmware.
Finaly you need a "sketch" that understand the potentiometer Input and execute it into a "axis controll" that can recived from FSUIPC or other programms.

For the MICRO System please look here for example .... http://www.instructables.com/id/Arduino-LeonardoMicro-as-Game-ControllerJoystick/

Alternate is using a gamecontroller..... You can buy one (empty) like a arduino where you can set your devices.... Or you can crack a old joystick and remove the Stick itself and cable your pottis there....

Maby the "best" but much more expensive solution is a LEOBodnar Board..... You can buy Joystick Controller there ( With Axis for potentiometers) and BBI32 Button Interfaces where you can set buttons, switches, encoders and rotary switches in a verry easy and perfect way ! http://www.leobodnar.com/shop/
There you not need big knowledge obout programming but they cost maby 10x more like the self build solution.

So.... Please google youreself and decide WHAT you want..... Then try out and if you need help ask us !
Good Luck !
