Good morning all,
Just wondering if anybody had issues with Mobiflight after turning both the engines off with Apu on for 737pmdg users.
I ve built my overhead panel using Mobiflight and everything works perfectly until I want to park the plane and shut the engines down on APU power ...
at that point I start hearing the tone of USB disconnecting and several time this lead to either an FSX crash or a blue screen ...
I've noticed if I set the plane in ground power and avoid the usage of Apu for electrics this problem doesn't show up.
Anybody has ever experienced the same issue and eventually any suggestion on the fixing?

Thanks much

Hi

At the moment i not fly with my pmdg in case of cockpit building work... But i not hear about that.... google search not find much issues like that.

Basicly i don´t think thats a Mobiflight Problem !
If it would be a problem in Mobiflight then the connector will STOP..... But a USB Disconnect or like you say a Bluescreen/Crash of FSX must have another reasons.
Whatever it´s a hardware problem ( short circuit e.g.) then maby the Arduino will disconnect.... BUT that can´t kill the FSX normaly.

If possible you can make some testings to find the nature of problem.....

1. When is the problem starting?
is it when you switch the function of the APU to on ? Or If the APU is startup running on ( EGT increase) ? Or does it happen when you activate the Electrical Power Bus ?

2. Does this happen simmular when you startup the APU while on Ground BEFORE Takeoff ?
Or for example when you startup the APu on Cruise ( while flight in 30.000 ft)

3. Disable your Homecockpit hardware and make the process in the Virtual Cockpit..... Does it crash again without using your HC (Arduinos on USB disconnected) ??

****

If you can figure out what exact produce the Error then we can think about whats the problem is.
For example if it only crash when you activate the APU with your Homecockpit switch ( and not with virtual switch) THEN we must check the Command of your switch.

If Problem is already existing without Homecockpit Technics then the Issue is internal in FSX/PMDG and you have to contact the PMDG Support !

Please report experience !

EDIT: I forgot to say....
Just to prevent problems that already been fixed in the past.....
Please confirm you use PMDG in current Up toDate Version ( for 737NGX it´s 1.d ) and newest FSUIPC from 2017
