Hi.

I wonder if it would not be better if, when a new program starts, instead of starting with the already created configs, it would not be better to start from scratch.

That way, when there is a problem in a config, you could try again without inheriting the configs that may not work well.

Then, it would be easy to change the module and start again, right?

?? Not understand what then should be better .... or what the problem is.

Mobiflight start basicly with the last SAVED File.....
Thats verry usefull cause most users build there Cockpit over long time.... So they insert always additional lines with every new build part.
Finaly when cockpit is finished Mobiflight must load the finished file all the time to run the cockpit !

A Startup with a empty config so is not verry usefull (i think) .

But maby you simply understand wrong....

You NOT must delete existing configs if you like to start a new project or if you like to test something....
Simply klick on the "File Tab" and choose "NEW" ... Then a empty new config pops up. donĀ“t forget to SAVE it when you finish.... IF NOT then the last saved file (The config you have loaded before you choose a new one) will load on next run again !

EDIT: If you mean the devices you set on the Mobiflight Board..... YES This is saved all the time until you delete it youreself..... But here again you not must delete every element single.... You can delete the hole Device Settings with a simple Reset via the Arduino IDE. Then the Board is complete empty !
Good Luck !
