Hello guys,
I bought the LCD for MEGA 2560 https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/618SCRww%2BZL._SL1300_.jpg but it turns on the backlight but not the characters and numbers.
I connected it correctly to the MEGA 2560
help me

Hi

This can be a Software, Hardware, or a Configuration Problem !

1. Hardware
Please check the birghtness setting of the LCD Display ( Mostly a little roatry switch there you need a screwdriver ).... Increase it !
If its complete low (sometimes in main state when you buy it) then the Text is not vissible )
Also get shure you wire the Datalines to the correct IC2 Pins on Mega !

2. Software
Checkout that you use the correct IC2 Adress in the Mobiflight Setting Tab ! Lots of manifacturs use different adresses.
You have to find out the adress of YOUR Display (Datasheet for example) and use it correct !

3. Config
Maby your Display work still ok.... But your Config is simply wrong and not send Data or text to the Display.
Get shure you do all correct here.... For testing simply not use offsets or so... Only write text in the virtual Displayfield in Mobiflight like "Test---Test---Test" and Run it.

Please report experience if you find the problem.... If not tell us more detailed your situation.... Then we try to help!

I changed from 0x27 to 0x3F the address,
now works very well
