Hi
i have been using mbi flight for a while now with jeehell its always worked fine then this afternoon when starting mobi flight
it does not start i have looked at the taskmanager and its not running
i ave tried several times even tuning the computor off and on it still does not start

sometimes if i move the whole mobiflight folder to say anouther area of computor eg c drive to e drive it starts only once then back to normal i mean it wont start
if it does start it is working ok provided i reload my config file
any help appreciated

Hi Mike

This means you got a fatal error in your Config File.

Mobi normaly start with the LAST used File that you have loaded in last season.
If there is a Issue in THAT File it not start again.

To Solve this....
( If the file is complex you should repair it..... if it´s just a testing file with only some configs.... then i would start again with a new building.... Repairing takes more time like simply create 5-10 new configs)


1. Remove the File you have loaded from it current place. If Mobiflight not found it, it will open the Main File from first installation.... So it workes again basicly.
I recommend to remove the File into another Folder ( for example / Backup ) and renaiming the file .... for example blabla.mcc in blablaBACKUPT.mcc

2. If now Mobiflight runs again you have 2 Ways to repair your file..... If you are lucky you can LOAD this file again with mobiflight ( Without a Error warning).
If Yes you can check every config ( Mostly the last you add before the crash happens) and then you have to Repair it.
Mostly the problem is you create empty configs and not enter every data like Device, Offset and so on.
Or you use a Expressions in Transform/Compare that is in wrong syntax.

If the Config NOT can be loaded via Mobiflight ( Error warning ) you have to rework the file with a TEXT EDITOR.
I Recommend to use "Notepad++".... This is most better for Code scripting..... But you can work with a standard editor like the "Windows Text Editor" , too.
you have to find the wrong syntax in the file and have to remove it.

Would not have a clue if config file is good or not
So I have started again with new not easy to programme about 200 switches leds 5 different boards
Hope I learn my lesson a and save a good copy as well as the main config
