Hi,

I'm trying to add a button input, but whenever I press it the input bounces twice. Eg. (P=On Press, R=On Release) PPRR PPRR PPRR. I've tried switching on debug mode, but that doesn't seen to help. I've even tried removing the button and making the connection manually, but I still get the same result. I currently only have a MAX7219 Display module connected. The bouncing means that anything I do in FSX gets reversed immediately.

I got this issue (optical) too in the past... and some people report it too.
But we only get the effect like you report that in a writting tool for example "pp" is shown instead of "p" single.
So in our situation the double effect was NOT executed n FSX.... Whatever p or pp was send... The action only come one time.


Please try the follow...

1. Use Administrator Mode for FSX AND Mobiflight ! ( this was the key for our Problem i think)

2. I remeber i got a simmular problem in my PMDG as i try to work with a Config ( All Commands send twice) .... That was a effect when you try to work with Mobiflight WITHOUT a Restart after a Firmware Update or in some cases after a Upload of new Devices.

Please try....
Restart Mobiflight.... AND verry Important... Restart Arduino, too ( Simply close Mobiflight... Disconnect the Arduino USB Wire from you Computer.... Wait 5 Seconds..... reconnect it and after another 5 Seconds restart Mobifight. )

THIS normaly was only needed after Firmware Update (or Device Upload) ...

Please try out this 2 things and report us if problem is solved !

I followed both of your instructions and it worked perfectly. It still looks like it's taking the input twice, but FSX only gets one - I assume that this is the internal debounce.
