Hey,
I am bulding a landing gear lever with staus lights. The lights work perfect, no problems on the output size but the input switches simply wont work. I tested the switches with Multi Meter and tested them on a USB Joystick board and they work. Input is simply not working on my Mega board.I set the Gear Up and Gear Down switches as "G" key and I have no respone in P3D. I tried encoder (for a different use) and it wont work too.

I have the latest firmware and software...

Thanks...

Hi

Do you got the Simulator Window Open and Active ?? I get no experiance with P3D but normaly Keys only send to the open window.

To test this youreself please open a writing program (Like EDITOR or WORDPAD or simply this Forum Writing Area or the Adress Line in youre Browser and klick the cursor so you can write normaly)..... Then push youre button..... If everything is ok it will write a "G" like you push the "g" on your keyboard.

Additional you can use the "logging" Mode from mobiflight.... In The now visible lines below the Config entrys you see if a buttonpush is checked by Mobiflight AND if a command is send to the FSX/P3D .
Good Luck !

Then youre Mega is broke ( i dont think so)
OR
Youre Config is wrong.

Please check again if you use the correct pins in the Setup Menu. Check if you use THIS Device in the Config.

If you not find an issue please copy and paste me the information of the Logging Debug String.... When you Push and Release the Button..... What is written there ?
Good Luck !

If you have a good Internet Firewall you also can deactive the User Access Controll (UAC). Then you need not to run Applications wiht Admin-rights

Hi,

Would like to share my solution for those who end up to this thread looking for gears control... hope it will be useful

THIS IS FOR FSX

1. Created new button by adding new device of type button in mobiflight module; named it "GearUpDown", pin at your choice between 22 and 53;
2. Created New Input, named it "Gear Up Down"
3. Entered "Gear Up Down" configuration
4. Choosed "Input" tab
5. under "Chose Input" selected my mobiflight module, and "GearUpDown" as Device
6. "On press" tab -> Action type "FSUIPC Offset", Offset 0x0BE8, Value type int, Size in Bytes 4, "Mask value with" leave default, BCD not checked, Set value "0" (Gears up)
7. "On release" tab -> Action type "FSUIPC Offset", Offset 0x0BE8, Value type int, Size in Bytes 4, "Mask value with" leave default, BCD not checked, Set value "16383" (Gears down)

Confirm and save. Enjoy :-)
