Hi Guys,

This is a big shout out to say thank you for the Mobi Flight Software. 18 months ago a remember watching a Facebook video of somebody who built a 737 cockpit. I was amazed and knew that was something I really would like to replicate. Of course just like every noob, I didn't really know where to start. Opencockpits pointed my in the right direction and a lot of research on the web.

However, SOIC, and python programming languages didn't really do it for me. I was already learning Arduino, and had an Uno and mega board. I followed the parking brake tutorial on your website, and that was my eureka moment! I was truly amazed, that I could flick a switch and make a tiny led come on. That night my ideas went bigger than Mount Everest.

Today, I have a full sized home build 737 cockpit, with 18 Arduino mega boards and Mobiflight software. I have posted several times on the forum and every time my answers have been resolved. Its been a massive learning curve, not only with Mobiflight/PMDG/Prosim, but being the other side of the world (Brunei), you have to make everything and to be honest I am on a very limited budget, (It was supposed to be less that 1000 British pounds, but ended up being closer 2000 pounds all in)

A final thank you, for all your hardwork in programming and making one mans dream come true (and now his many new friends lol). Mobiflights versatility of its input/output parameters and ease of use is unparalleled in the sim world, when used with a Arduino Mega Board.

Kind Regards,

Karl

Hi Karl!

Congratulation for finishing your homecockpit with MobiFlight!

Many, many wonderful flights in your self built pilot world.

I think we would be very appreciated if you would let us participate with some photos of your cockpit and how you have relalized it.

Otherwise I understand your time trouble with your new hobby while flying on the one hand and sending photos from the making of on the other hand.

So always happy landings and mud in your eyes!
Grüße,
Stephan (Time: UTC+2)

Hi Stephan,

it seems I learned how to build a 737, learn CAD, CAM, and programming. But for the life of me, I can not figure out a way to post pictures.

Please put me out of my misery, and inform on the basics.

Kind regards,

Karl

If you have a digital camera nothing easier than this.
Transfer your pictures from the camera to your PC, start your browser go to https://picload.org/ amd follow the instructions on the screen.
For every picture you upload you'll get a link. This link you copy in this editor and frame it into the image-button of this editor (2nd line) send the message - ready.
But the upload may take any tme depending of your upload-speed. The lower the longer.

Facebook works, if you have an account there!

Awesome! Looks great. A lot of people would have such a hoemcockpit I think.
Noteable is the air conditioning in the footwell of the copilot. Did you realize it also with MobiFlight? Then I need the schematic ;)
