.I have begun building a BeechCraft Baron 58. I have created 2 fuel gauges using Tower Pro SG90 Servos, one for the left tank and one for the right tank.

https://picload.org/view/riwdplcl/s8z47vy.jpg.html

The servos work using the test button in MobiFlight.

The FSUICP offsets for the fuel tank levels are:

0B7C 4 Fuel: left main tank level, % * 128 * 65536
0B94 4 Fuel: right main tank level, % * 128 * 65536

What I need help with please is; Using this information how do I determine what formula or value to enter into the "Transform" field to get the gauges to read accurately.

Thank you in advance for you help!!!!

Jim

P.S. I don't know why my images are not showing up in the post. I have added links to them.

It basically means that the value you read is
the percentage * 128 * 65536

If you are interested in the percentage value then you have to revert the multiplication using the transform field
$/128/65536

But, the value is a value between 0 (0%) and 1 (100%) so you have to ensure that you multiply by 100 somehow to read, e.g. 54 instead of 0.54 because MobiFlight rounds down to the next smaller integer.

If i use this
$*100/127/65536

it works pretty well.
Have a great day!
Sebastian

Hi Jim,

great looking gauges. Do you have an update or maybe a video how they work? I fond such gauges as 3D bezels on thingiverse, did you use those or are yours selfdesigned?

I am also dedicated to the Baron and about to rebuild my current setup. If you are interested you can have a look at my facebook page, would be happy to step in contact with you. I can imagine we can jointly exchange ideas.
