Hiho

Hope i understand right....

As shown in the FSUIPC Offsetmapping only one decision value is supportet... " offset 3428 8 Byte Float ... Decision Height im meters "
If FSUIPC works logical this must be the Radar based decision height..... ( Decision Height =DH= Radar.... Decision Altitude =DA= Baro)

Standard Question in those situations... What Plane ?? If you use a addon there will be maby special supportet Offsets for this !

**********

For second question....

As explaned in some other threads.....

You can use the "Fast Forward " modes of encoder or alternative a Push Button to switch between different input modes.
Maby youre Addon support a EventID for faster increase/decrease.... If not you must manipulate a offset if posible....
For Example you say. " Encoder on right Increase Value by 1 ($+1) " ...... Then make a second mode that say Increase by 10 ($+10)
Set this on Normal and Fast mode and then you can turn slowly for +1 and if you turn fast you increase value by 10 for example.

Hope this helps !
Good Luck !

Hello and thx for the Offsets,

in regard off the encoders I run into problems. I liked to configure my heading bug encoder like you mentioned (default Beech Baron).
- 10° with fast mode (07cc 2byte +1820)
- 1° with normal mode (07cc 2byte + 182)
In the normal mode all went fine but when I turn the encoder faster no fast mode will be used or shown in the debug mode window.
I tried then the fast mode without inputs in the normal mode and nothing happened and in the debug window i got the message now config found for button on pinb xx. I checked after this all things twice and make sure i put in a configuration (but there was already something configured). But alway the same nothing happend and message no config found.

Any ideas?

regrads Christian

Hi Christian.

Sorry.... I just expane the normal technic without using this myself until the moment. .... Did a test for you ten minutes ago.... This NOT work !

Looks like the ON FAST Commands not execute to Mobiflight.
After Board Search i see same is reported already here ..... https://www.mobiflight.com/forum/message/2397.html

So i don´t know if this is a Problem in Firmware/Mobiflight Code..... OR If we need Special Encoders for this.... (Maby with a fix Detent/Signal Sequence)

If you like to test this use the KeyPress Option ! Set On Left Maby "A" ond Left Fast "B". Run Mobiflight and open a Write Programm like word and klick on the Cursor so window is active. When you turn the encoder to the left it writes AAAAAAAAAA. If you see a "B" that was a "on fast" Signal !

@ SEBASTIAN: Please a short Reply about that !
Good Luck !

Hi guys

the on fast should work fine, I had tested that for the last release thoroughly. But well, I never know - I might have missed something.

If you turn on Debug Mode you should see whether onFastLeft/Right or regular onLeft/Right is triggered.

And maybe you have to turn faster ?
Have a great day!
Sebastian

Confirm ! Sorry.

Maby it´s cause of the detents of the Encoder.... I can reproduce the On fast is working... But i realy need to turn it verry fast to get the result.
Don´t know if this is hardcoded.... Maby you can reduce limit of normal/fast a little lower.

thanks for respond.

EDIT: Yes it´s the kind of Encoder..... If i use another one i just set in my B737 EFIS the ON Fast is working fine.
If i rember right. the "good" Encoder are 20/20 the Encoder witch need to turn verry fast is a 15/30 !
