Hello, I am using the CTS 288 Encoders and I would like to know if Mobiflight supports encoder acceleration? For example if I turn the encoder slowly it will turn an instrument such as a VOR slowly but rapidly if I turn it quickly. I Can do this right now with an Arduino hooked up to Link2FS but I would like to move to X-Plane and use Mobiflight if possible.

Thanks!

Hi
Welcome to Mobiflight !

Mobiflight support encoders for a "Normal" and a "fast" command.... I don´t know the exact technic but i think it counts detents per second..... If you turn the Encoder fast and reach this limit it execute the "fast" instead of the "normal" command.

Question finaly is if youre Aircraft support these input..... with a Offset manimpualting System it should be no problem.... you can say for example increase value by 1 or 10 even what turning speed you use..... With Event ID´s its maby more difficult. But possible, too.

If it´s work with Link2FS i think its working with Mobiflight, too.
Good Luck !
