MobiFlight Community Support

When I start Mobiflight with my PMDG737 config file loaded as default, Mobiflight fails to start. If I choose a different config file and then open my PMDG737 file it opens but I get an Unhandled Excpetion error with the text below. Obviously it looks like something to do with an Orphaned Serial as I get this exact same error when I choose "Manage Orphaned Serials" from the Extras menu. I am going through the XML of my PMDG737 file right now to see if I happen to have a reference to an Orphan, but I wanted to let you know of the error as well. Thanks

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I determined the cause of my problem. I had created an Input that was not tied directly to a module or device. Those fields were just left blank as I was planning on getting back to them later. Once the file was saved and MobiFlight closed, it would crash whenever it attempted to open that file either on initial start or when I would open that file after starting on another file. It appears that each input MUST be tied to a module and device in order to prevent the Exception below.
