Hi ktounsi,

I see no problem with using them. Only problem for me is that this switch is constantly ON, that means that there is still current going through. There is topic about connecting numerous LEDs to arduino facing similar problem.

You don't want to kill your arduino.

There is no Problem !

Switches (Inputs) gut a resistor on Mobiflight Board. Theres no problem with Max current by switches.

Remeber you need to create a config for each shifting point on youre switch. For mobiflight every detend got a pin and workes like a normal button.
Good Luck !

Yes ktounsi you certainly can,

Just use the common ground and say you'll have 5 separate assigns for each "tick" of the rotary, use 5 separate inputs of the board and assign them accordingly ;)

I'm currently using 2 rotaries for 738 Engine starters. I'll also add 3 more for Auto-Brake, Flaps and IRS.

I appreciate your help slammer88.
Everything works like a charm now.
Do you use a simple rotaries switches for your engine start or solenoide ones?

Using simple rotaries with 12 ticks and 30 degree turning ratio of each tick. I've also bought one for Auto-Brake via AliExpress with a 45 degree turning ratio and only has 8 inputs -which is also a simple rotary as well- :)
