hi everybody...i was having a problem if the MEGA2560, the servos is working fine, in the Arduino servo example and with the servo testers, but isnt working with the signal of the simulator, i reduced the response in FSUIP to 100ms...in a test mode MF is working...what could is occurring?

I think more information will be needed in order to help you.

Please, tell us software version you are using, kind of servo, aircraft, offsets used,etc.

Have a nice day!

hi corco19....i am using the lastest software, ARDUINO 1.8.1.....and MF 7.2.0....the servos i have some differents kinds, mini servos MR.RC ORANGE SG90....HEXTRONIC HX5010....TOWER PRO MG995....all of them there are suplied in a external power 5VDC, if the GND in commum GND MEGA, the steeper motor is working fine, receive the signal during the fligh an do the same...but the servos still stopped, only responds in the test mode....i am using compare.....interpolation settings, another thing , any time that i use for test the ARDUINO examples, when i star the MF, is request to update the FIRMWARE.
0=0
10=10
20=20.... this the same until
1000=1000...after plus increments 100 until 2000
1100=1100...

ok...is working...but the movement is too hard, and jammed...in a test SWEEP ARDUINO they are moving soft and continuously

Unfortunately it's hard to compare it with the example sketch. Also when using the test button you should get a smooth movement.
But when reading the values from FSUIPC you will always read small incremental values. This leads to the stuttering.
Have a great day!

OK DOCMOEBIUZ.. i tried to put in servo range the exact value from FSUIPC, 35600 for 260knots in speed indicator, but the same problem occured...start to work jamming, and not exactle like the simulator, in the previous version was working fine...could be a problem in FIRMWARE?
thanks for your support

Hi souza,

I don't know what your expectation in regards to the servo movement really is.
Did you lower your FSUIPC poll intervall to the smallest value?
Have a great day!

HI DOC....yes...i pull dowm to 100ms....sorry if i am doing some thing wrong, but some time ago i tested the MF and the response of MF program and movement to the servo was amazing, precisely...now i havent the same response...i had the NICK BIBLE on my PC, installed the new PETE DOWSON FSUIPC, after each change in a MF monitor speed, the Arduino board led blink, the attitude indicator pitch and bank is working to the same mode...jamming...like the 5 steep each time ...but i realy know there is some thing wrong, i am using the FSUIPC code 02BC 4 bytes INT
Display servo
min Value =15
max value=255
max rotation=64%
COMPARE
interpolation
0=15
5120=20
7680=46
10240=48
20480=142
30720=220
35000=255
another question, is make difference to use a lot interpolations fields or for example if i use 0=15, 35000=255 the feed back will be same.
Thank you for the fast reply, i know thah the time, today,is preciously..

HI DOC......some news for me?.....after insane tests, i am decided to return for the MF 7.1.3...the stepper motor are runing perfectly, but the servos,
like a CLIMB, SPEED INDICATOR,TURN COORDENATOR dont give me the response during the flight, but, if i press the STOP-TEST-STOP-RUN, the servos goes to the exact position, but still freeze..i am frustrade, because i made by miself all the hardware...and was a great job...and now, i cant to make run like i desire

Hi DOC....i am perfoming some tests..i had install FSX SE, FSUIPC4, Simconnect,MF 7.1.3.....the same CODE 02BC with 4 bytes in stepper motor works, but in servo dont work only in situation that a explain before...i put in servo in situation of Transform $/128, display min=0 max=240....have you any idea for me....for use stepper instead off a servo is simple, but i tested before and was working good.
thanks for your cooperation.

Hi Souza

I havent had the opportunity to try it myself. Have you verified that the tutorial works fro you http://www.mobiflight.com/en/tutorials/servo-motor-flaps-gauge.html?
Have a great day!

..Hello DOC...thank you for your support...yes. i tested these mode and work fine, i was observing that if i put the servo to work like a flap indicator, or some else like these, is work, but if i put like a speed indicator, vertical speed, turn coordenator, were the instrument that receive constantly information from de BOARD, the response from de program to MEGA BOARD seems to be lost, otherwise the led blinks at every change , but the servo dont move, i used any combinations of the compare, servo max, servo min but nothing occur, i replace the speed indicator and vertical speed servos for a stepper motor, and works fine, but in a large aircraft panel witth many instruments, i will be need to add another board...i am using a separate power suply 5v, were the Gnd is connected with the Mega Board, sincerely i dont understand whats is occuring, i know that i am far away to be a expert in MF or Arduino, butt...
