I followed the tutorial exactly how it was written to engage the flaps. I used the Flaps 1 position and the flaps 2 position offsets. When I startup the default cessna 172 in FSX and move the flaps lever down my flaps gauge goes crazy. What am I doing wrong?

Maybe the offset values don't fit the value range of the servo?
Have a great day!

How would you determine the value range of the servo?

on the main window on the outputs tab, in each line you see the FSUIPC Offset value and the transformed value.
Use the flap and watch the values change. The minmum and maximum value would be the values you are looking for. Use these values to set the range. By default, the servo will know that the minimum value means servo position 0 degrees and the maximum value means 180 degrees.
Have a great day!
