Hi there, I want to know how I can use an encoder or a 4 position rotary switch, as a multifunction selector. So I can have one encoder controlling heading, alt, etc, and having a switch that selects between them. How would I go about this for msfs.

Many Thanks

1 wire for each pin, connect them to analog pins on the board, the pin towards the center goes to ground.

Add a button for each pin, and assign it's config.

I haven't tried switching between instruments with a single encoder; maybe mobiflight will let you do that, if you add some code to scroll through the separate instruments.

I found this post that describes a method for doing it; I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds doable. https://www.mobiflight.com/forum/topic/5729.html

It is available with Mobiflight variable and using preconditions.
Here is a tutorial:

Do you know that you can simplify: if($=1,0,1) ?
Use simply: 1-$ :)
