Hey there,

first off im fairly new here to Mobiflight.
However I want that the AP Disengae Switch goes only down when a certain button is pressed. But I think there is no other Event, if its called like that, which has the option to just "pull it down" instead of toggling it. Here is the toggling Event it uses.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi,
Although in Xplane I face the smiliar situation.
Only a 'toggle' command exists for AP disengage.
It means, that if you use a push button, then it goes up and down with every push
If you have a switch it goes up and down using on-press and on-release event with the same command.
In addition in case of a switch it is hard to keep in sync with the SIM, since during retriggering the switch it changes state and get out of sync.

I also wonder if anyone has a perfect solution for AP_DISENGAGE_SWITCH.

Do you know that you can simplify: if($=1,0,1) ?
Use simply: 1-$ :)

Hi Jerrox,

Instead of using PMDG_B737_MCP_AUTOPILOT_DISENGAGE_SWITCH, select PMDG_B737_MCP_AUTOPILOT_DISENGAGE_YOKE from the list. That will work like the disengage button on the yoke, and is not a toggle action. I am kinda assuming you want to use the button on final for disengaging the autopilot, and this would be the correct way to do it. Press once to disengage, and press twice to silence the horn.

Preset code if you can't find it: 100401 (>K:ROTOR_BRAKE)
