I am new to Mobiflight so please excuse my ignorance.

My configuration is the latest Steam version of MSFS2020 with FlyingIrons Spitfire MkIXc in my hanger, the Spitfire is working OK within the Simulator.
MobiFlight 10.0.2 fresh install. 7th Jan 24
Arduino MakerNano (has LEDS on all Output Pins so easier run tests)

The MobiFlight Connector recognises my MakerNano board OK and I can upload to it.

However when I go to the ConfigWizard I can search the Presets, but it does not show any options for either FlyingIron as a Vendor, or the Spitfire as an aircraft,.

Am I missing something obvious or is it that Flying Iron aircraft not supported.

many thanks Bob

This is all community effort.
If you don't find specific events for the Flying Irons Spitfire it is because you are apparently the first to show interest for this aircraft.
Interested users dig up the event code in MSFS developer mode, Behaviors and contribute their findings in Hubhop.

It would be good if you join the Mobiflight Discord server.

Cheers

Thanks Jamie.
Somehow I had initially glanced over the bit where they said that support had moved to discord.
But I was in the process of moving this discussion to discord - when I decided to check back here before clicking posting.

Obviously I am new to Mobisoft, and I have been using FS2020 for a while with an old Saitek setup.
In my past life I have developed commercial software/hardware, and a couple of years ago I created a working prototype cockpit of my own using Arduino's and UDP for X-Plane. I wish hubhop had been around then it my have saved me a lot of searching.

Rather than repeat that exercise on FS2020 I was looking for a jump start by just using MobiSoft, but from what you say that looks unlikely.

I had tried searching for a list of Mobisoft supported aircraft/vendors but I could not find one, from a quick glance I assume that the hubhop index is effectively the definitive list.

I am happy to try some digging - is there any kind of idiots guide to using developer mode for this?
.....Watching some Youtube Video Tutorials now.

thanks Bob

Often times you can find settings that work under Generic listings

Leave Vender at Show All
Select Generic as aircraft
Look for the setting you need in System dropdown

You might also find what you need under FSUIPC Offsets you can get .pdf of the offsets here https://www.projectmagenta.com/all-fsuipc-offsets/
