Hi all,

I am having some problems with the MAX7219 displays & Arduino MEGA. (Specifically those from Loungepilot)

I have wired in up correct and I manged to get both display working correctly with Flight Sim, so I know in principal the system was working with the Mobiflight software.

However since unplugging a re-plugging in the Arduino, the MAX7219 displays stay on, then cut out, nothing I can do can get them back working again. I have even tried a new board. Resetting the current board, every setting I can imagine, re-wiring, different USB ports, re-starting the computer etc, I really am at a loss now on what is causing this issue.

Is there any advice you can assist with me on this?, has anyone encountered this before?

Note, its x2 in a daisy chain.

I have done multiple test and seems to be when i add the 7 segment display with the DIN,CS,CLK Pin etc, after uploading this, it cuts out and fails.

Tried different pins, board resets etc....

Ok for sure, now tried everything. Adding the LEDModule via Mobiflight stops the displays working, confirm all the pins are set correctly.

I updated to version 10 mobilfigght yesterday and noticed some displays are not showing all digits havent seen this happen before only after update will investigate this morning. Have 21 megas connected and dont have any issues with dispalys only happenned after updated to latest mobiflight version. PMDG 737 ngxu and P3dv5

Hi, this was answered on discord.
You have to select 8 LEDS (not 3 or 5 or 6) on the 7 segment hardware page first row, then below row: enable with [ only those which are in use (3 or 5 or 6)..]
