Hello,

I am new to configuring Mobiflight and was wondering how to use the merge feature in Mobiflight. Here is the situation:

I have 2 configurations, one have all the working LCD displays but none of the buttons and background lighting is configured, on the other configuration file I don't have the LCD displays configured but I do have the buttons configured.

I would like to take the configured settings from the 2nd file and paste the working aspects of that file and MERGE it into the first. So in essence end up with a total working Simple FCU.

Is there a guide on using the Merge feature? I really don't want keep going back and forth looking at configurations all day, it's a pain.

Thank you for your time

Hi Steven,

sorry, I am very busy and mostly keep an eye on Discord for support questions.

Merge is basic, but it works like you describe it. You have one config and can merge a second... but it will merge everything. And it will still be under the name of the first config.
So best approach is:
* Create and maintain "config1"
* Create and maintain "config2"
* Create a new empty config, e.g. "configAll"
* Merge "config1" and "config2"
* Save it as "configAll"
Have a great day!
Sebastian

Hello Sir,

Much appreciated. It always seems simple after it is explained, LOL

Thank you
