Hey everyone, I'm new here and have no experience with anything to do with arduino other than I used it to change the firmware on my 3d printer and I played around with a single one button switch. So I want to make a button box with upto 18 twist dials. From what I have read I should use rotary encoders as I want them to mainly control radio frequency knobs. I have an arduino nano and I think I might have a arduino uno packed away somewhere, but I'm unsure. So if anyone would be willing to share and let me know if something like this is even possible and any advice or tips on how to actually do this would be incredibly appreciated. I mainly play dcs with some planes like the a10 having 5 knobs per radio and 3 radios in total. My plan would be to have 2 or 3 sets of 5 twist dials for the frequency change and 1 set of 2 or 3 twist dials to control the radios volume. So I would need 12 to 18 dials intotal. Hopefully this makes sense if not please feel free to ask for more info. And thank you in advance to anyone who can help

That's totally possible and actually quite simple.

Check out the getting started video 2023 from me on youtube and also look for videos by Captain Bob.
Have a great day!
