A quick question- I have a config script that works for FSX. Do I need to re-write it to work for XPlane12?

Hi Dave,

yes, you have to rewrite your config lines. That is because FSX and X-Plane are different.

Just to give my two cents.....

If you use in FSX "Basic FSUIPC Inputs and Outputs" for Stock aircrafts......
And you use XPlane also with a stock aircraft and via XPUIPC....

Then your Setup work without any rework.

But also Stephan is right....

Everything that goes beyond stock aircrafts is speciffic.
Here FSX, Xplane , P3D and FS2020 and also each single AddOn is different.

In easy words.... Ask yourself what you need.... Maybe it work... Maybe not. Its a question of the used AddOn.
