Hello,

Would the solution be able to recognize and operate the devices on an I2C bus (MCP23017 for example)?

Regards

Hi

Sorry for late reply.

i2c we only use a.t.m. for the LCD Display.
All other device are connected via Pins.

As i know there are some users who create own code (rework of Mobiflight Firmware) to make those things possible already.
We also plan for a Data Output to third Party Software in next Milestone Update 10.0

So in easy words....
I2C is not official planed to be open.... But there are still provisional ways and they will be official bypass ways in the future if you really like this.
Overall.... Simply use the devices we still provide.... Maybe you need a Arduino more. But all is possible still now !
Good Luck !
