Hello, all. New to the forum and looking for some guidance to get a small panel set up to control the Sperry gyropilot, radios, and a few other instruments for the Aeroplane Heaven DC-3. To get the proper MSFS 2020 commands needed for Mobiflight, I’m having fairly good luck just running the FSUIPC7 console log, fiddling with each knob in the sim cockpit (gyropilot heading, for example), and taking down the resulting EVENT that pops up in the console log. Take the event name (the MSFS 2020 preset), assign it to an Arduino rotary encoder/pin in Mobiflight, and Bob’s your Uncle. In no time I had full control of the Sperry gyropilot heading and pitch with my external rotary encoders. However, I say “fairly good luck” because I don’t always get a logged event in the console log when adjusting a few of the instruments. For example, adjusting the heading bug in the magnetic compass returns no events in the FSUIPC7 monitor. I’ve tried a few obvious FSUIPC7 Offsets to see if I could connect to the heading bug, but no luck there, either. Would this require LVars? Many thanks.
