Hey Guys,

I have been out of simming for quite some time and decided i need to build another panel and get back in. SO with the new MF supporting both can i use the same panel and just switch between the flighsims and no need for uploads to arduino etc?

Yes. MF firmware is fixed with your panel, it defines your hardware, led, encoder, button... connection.
You can use the same panel for different aircraft, different simulator. You then need to load different configuration file each time.
