My cockpit build is currently configured for Xplane using Air Manger. The last two pieces I am trying to build are second COM and NAV radios using a 5 digit 7-segmemt display.
The Air Manager scripting for that is beyond my programming capabilities and I read that Mobiflight makes the programming of a 7-segment display much easier. I have not tried it yet.
Is it possible to use mobiflight for the radios and connect to Xplane while all the other hardware is running on Air Manager?

Why not.
MF and Airmanager are two different things.
Both will talk to the Sim via there individual way.

I see not a problem here.

For sure.... Mobiflight can not interact with airmanager.... Only with the Sim itself.
Good Luck !

It worked well in connecting a 5 digit 7-segment display to X plane.

Like the thread starter, I am wanting to use MF on a separate machine running XPlane 12
Hower I cannot "see" XP12 running on the other machine.

I know XP broadcasts and doesnt need a plugin on port 49010 (??) but I cannot see that MF listens nor is there anywhere in MF installation settings that defines the IP address and port of the beaconing XP installation.

Can any one offer guidance ?

The current MF communicates natively direct with XP on the same machine.
Therefore as far as I know Xplane can not connect to other machine.
(Formerly with Xpuipc it used WideFS for this kind of communication).
This is a similar situation to that when you want use a 2nd instance of Xplane to have external views => it needs additional licence.

Do you know that you can simplify: if($=1,0,1) ?
Use simply: 1-$ :)
