MobiFlight is fantastic software I downloaded and tried it on Arduino kit, and it is really fantastic..

I have a question... I understand today Logitech Yoke can be used by MobiFlight, but the other Logitech panels cannot be used (example, MultiPanel, Switch Panel, etc)

Is it likely in the future that MobiFlight will be able to control Logitech Panels? unfortunately, I have invested everything in Logitech, and I understand SPAD can control them, but I don't like Software as subscription model which SPAD uses. When i purchase software, I would like to pay for it or donate to it and not to worry about it.

You have a fantastic software, keep up the good work.

Hi

I don“t know the features of these Logitech stuff.

We can controll a Throttle/Stick in case those are pretty sure HID Devices. ( So in Windows like a Joystick)
We also can meanwhile controll Outputs via HID for LED ( Like in Honeycomp Bravo)

I expect the other Logitech Panels are own systems..... So they have a controller inside ( not a Arduino) so we can not directly talk to it.

I not think Seb is planing to implement this directly in MF..... BUT
We have a lot of Users who meanwhile make other Boards compatible we ourself not planed for.... e.g. the PICO.
And also those users write own code.

So what i would say.... In the future we implement a new tool in MF to simply Output Data to a network adress.
And then a "Other" software can use this data.
So if somebody write a little "interface" programm that handle the transfer, then you can output via MF simply the needed Informations and this interface "translate" it into the Logitech Panels.

Thanks for the reply Pizman82...

I can confirm that Saitek (Logitech) yoke panel, and Throttle quadrant works perfectly with MobiFlight. So does the Saitek (Logitech) Rudder and Brake and can be programmed and controlled by MobiFlight.

In Fact, with MobiFlight controlling the Logitech Yoke, you can get rid of the Logitech profile software, and MobiFlight will be a better tool to turn your 22 button yoke into 66 button yoke using MobiFlight precondition. So, for those who only use Yoke and Rudder, you should try MobiFlight.

I have in addition to the Logitech Yoke and Rudder (which is working as designed), Radio Panel, Switch Panel, Multi Panel, Informaton panel, and 3 display screens from Logitech. They are not working as designed, as different aircraft using different Lvars etc, and you end up with broken buttons, and since Logitech software does not allow you to map buttons to functions in all (appart from Yoke and Rudder), you become stuck with it.

if I knew this before I purchased it, I would have invested in Bravo or made my own panels.

for now, I will hope that someone will create a driver for those logitech panels, just like SPAD did, and then i can control all from MobiFlight, and that would be the perfect solution.

Until then, I will keep checking here every few months just in case I get luck...:)

once again.. great software...

Thanks.

Just a Note....

I would join our Discord ! https://discord.gg/99vHbK7

There you can meet our Programmers like ElRal, Giocc, Neil and many more.
These are the guys who do the "own coding" i talk above.

Just "waiting" until somebody build what you like is not a good idea.
Better is to talk to the guys and tell them what you need.
E.g. maybe somebody still build it for its own but not plan to share it. If you ask him directly you got your solution tomorrow.
Good Luck !

I'm having the same issue. Trying to make my Saitek Multi Panel and Saitek Radio Panel work with the FlyByWire A320 in MSFS 2020.

Wow!

Quite interested in this. I also got the Logitech Multipanel this Christmas as a present, and although I can select Autopilot mode, and more or less set desired ALT, VS, IAS, etc., I would like to adapt it to the Antonov Autopilot, which uses decimal units.

Would that be possible with the planned changes?
