I was wondering how compatible the new version is with FSX. I couldn't find on the site where I could download earlier versions.
Thanks.

Hi Citationpilot,

why do you want an older version of MobiFlight?

The newest Version has the newest features you can use, but you mustn't.
Also can you not await any support for the older versions
Grüße,

I had noticed that under the simulators we support FSX was grey instead of blue they way MSFS was. The new version will be great if the offsets for FSX are still listed. Also most of the youtube tutorials for mobiflight and FSX are rather old and use older versions so it would be easier to understand.

Hi,
the fact is that it doesn't matter

a) which simulator you use and
b) which Mobiflight version you have. However, it makes sense to always use the latest MF version because it is not possible to support all versions. Functionally, MF is always backward compatible.

A special feature is the MSFS 2020, which is no longer operated by MF in the "usual" form, but via the WASM module in connection with HubHop.
I agree with you about the tutorial. Some of them are quite old, but the principle has remained the same. Now, someone just getting started with Mobiflight may not be able to link to the current software. But then you can discuss the pending questions here in the forum or, which is usually quicker, to deal with the problem on Discord. Discord has the advantage of being able to share screens and talk directly to each other. The standard language per voice is English, but any other language will work if agreed.
Some of the lists of offsets and EventIDs are older than the tutorials, regardless of which simulator they are used on (exception: MSFS2020). Nothing has changed for the respective standard simulators, which have not been further developed for years, although MF has certainly developed further and all simulators are still "served". What has changed over time is Mobiflight's user interface. It has developed further because the way of looking at and acting has changed and/or developed further. Nevertheless, the aim has always been to retain the functionalities and still develop them further without having to forego the usual standard.
Just click on the Discord link above and let yourself be invited to the current world of Mobiflight.
Grüße,
Stephan (Time: UTC+2)
