Hi

For Servos in our Firmware there is a limit of TWO per Uno Board.

Solution:

1. Use 2 Unos instead.... (Each can handle 2)
2. Use a Mega instead a Uno. There Limit is 10.

3. Rework of the Settings

I never done this myself.... Cause i simply use Boards that are compatible.... So i think (before start building) if all is working or if i would need additional or different controllers)
But
I think a Uno should also be able to handle more then 2 Servos technical. Maybe this Limit is very conservative.

I will check if a user can do this in a easy way.
Good Luck !

SimVimX uses a servo expander board to solve this problem. I have a WitMotion board which works great for SimVim. https://realsimcontrol.com/io_srv.html . However, there is almost no documentation on this and there doesn’t seem to be support for it here in MobiFlight. Would be great if this were added! I expect that there is simply a routine that passes the servo commands over the UART interface as opposed to the actual servo libraries in the Mega.

This will not come !

MF base logic is to use Boards as single controllers. We not plan to allow "External Boards" like SimVim do.

About Problem....

I talked to Seb. Basically its not a easy thing like edit a text file.... Change 2 to 4 and all is fine.
He also say the limits for UNO are done in case ( instead to SimVim) the controller must handle the full firmware ( For all the MF stuff). And then the Memory of the Uno/Micro with 32k instead of Mega with 256k "can" get to the Limits.

Solution:

On our Discord there are Pro Users who build own Firmware and can make those changes.
Get in contact to them by create a request there.
IF the build the custom firmware and we get feedback from you that also e.g. 3 Servos work finde without disadvantage then we can think about increase official limits in the future.
Good Luck !
