Hello everyone,

i want to declare some variables in Mobiflight and assign them with values. Is that possible or values can only assigned after pressing a button or rotating an encoder?

Hi

Basically Variables are define as "0" at startup. Cause thats the most usefull case.
Also if you Press "STOP" in a seasson and then Press "RUN" again all Variables are set to "0" again.

I not know WHY you expect this feature.....

If you need a Sync at startup.... e.g. set every Variable to the current position of Multi Position Switches in Cockpit we use the retrigger system OR we set all sitches to a "basic state" before we press run.

A other way is to create a Input.... E.g. a Button.... When we press it then it set one ( or multiple) Variables to a predifend Value.
And for sure we can also use a Sim Status for this.... E.g. "If we enable Landing Lights then Variable X should be "1" and Variable Y should be "0" or so.

***************

Summary: What you need is possible..... But i expect you think in wrong way. Normaly set all Variables to "0" at startup is exactly what we need.
Tell me your problem.... I can guid you in the right way.
Good Luck !
