Hi,
I have potentiometers that are providing analog inputs to Mobiflight. I then reduce the 1024 value to 0-255 and drive PWM to dim my instruments. This all works very nicely.
The issue I'm seeing is that POT values are a tiny bit erratic (as expected). This can then cause the PWM to shift enough that lights appear to be flickering a bit brighter and then dimmer, as would be the case with a bad connection. I believe it's the POT values that are causing this.

So, suggestion would be to have a "smooth values" checkbox that would allow the input values to be averaged over a series of reads, avoiding minor spikes up and down.

Is this something that anyone else has seen or unique to my setup?

Thanks!
Kevin

In the Device Settings Tab (Where you create your Pot on the Arduino) there is a slider to reduce scan rate to avoid flickering.

NOTE: You need to UPLOAD the Board Config once again after you change the slider..... Cause this Data is saved on the Arduino Firmware itself !
Good Luck !
