Hi all ive been trying to setup an engine start switch but ive run into a problem where the engine starter command "sim/ignition/engage_starter_1" will only run for a split second when the pin is initially powered but then stops. If you spam the switch it will remain on until you stop but im looking for a way to keep this cycling within mobiflight while the pin is active and stop when deactivated.
FYI i have been testing this on the stock King Air in XP11.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Hi

At first.... Here a Xplane advanced user is the better adress..... I not use Xplane myself. So the follow information is just basic.
To get in contact with the Xplane Geeks our DISCORD is the much more better adress.... https://discord.gg/99vHbK7

About Problem:

Some VErsions ago we implement the GUI for direct XPLANE Interface.... So the posibility to directly set Xplane Dataref and Commands via Mobiflight.
But as i know a important feature was not be possible to implement in this first try..... The "Input State" Parameter !

In XPUIPC it is possible to define for each Input multiple Parameters.... PRESS, RELEASE, TOGGLE, and HOLD.
This is not possible with our Interface.... Means the "HOLD" is not working with our Interface for now.

((NOTE: No confirmation if this is correct. As i said.... Xplane is not my project i work on))

Solution:
Do it by the old way.....
Use the XPUIPC System and make a entry in the INI/CFG File there.... ( Lots of guides on our Forum or on Discord)
There you can clearly execute a HOLD Command !
Good Luck !
