Hello, since a few days Mobiflight writes at startup "The following joysticks are not connected and therefore do not work......."
But the joysticks are normally present in Windows, can be calibrated etc. The Mobiflight-moduls are working well!
Anything I can do? Thanks in advance.

Does the Joystick change its name ?
Or do you change Language Setting from MF or Windows ?

I got a other Problem on my system since months.....

After Startup the Computer i have to Disconnect the Joystick from USB ( It was connected while Windows Startup)

If i not do this MF not see it ( windows for sure do) ..... After connect it WHILE PC is still running then MF see it on next start of the Connector.exe.
I got this Problem only with one of my 5 Gamecontrollers.
Good Luck !

I don´t think so.
In theory you can test.... If you just patch then all older VErsions ( You have installed in the past) are remain as a Zip File in your MF installation folder....
Simply Copy the needed ZIP into a new folder and unpack it.
BUT NOTE: With v9.6 we change the File System. So you can NOT open a mcc file that was saved within v9.6 in a older version anymore.
For testing you would need a old BAckup of the file that was not used in 9.6 before.

About Problem:

Please Confirm the Joysticks are NOT shown in MF.
Make for testing a new Config Line (Input) and choose as Device a Joystickbutton.
Can you use Buttons from these 3 Sticks ? Or better Are the 3 Sticks present and selectable in MF....

The important question we need to know:
Does MF lost all 3 Sticks completly.... OR .... Is just the used "ID" in the MCC corrupted ?

What you can also do for testing.....
Open the first Config that use a now missing Button....
Assign the same button once again ( by choose the stick from List if it exist.
Then SAVE the file and check the mcc in a editior....

There we could see if the "name" have change by compare this config and another one who use also a button of this joystick before.
Good Luck !

I have now reassigned the devices again. Although MFC writes that the joysticks are not connected, they can be selected in the "InputConfigWizard" as "modules". The names of the joysticks are the same as before. After the reassignment MFC recognizes the Joysticks again..
Thank you for helping!

No Prob....

Whatever.... It would be interesting for us what have changed.

If possible.... Could you copy/Paste the "old" MCC File part of a Config where you got the message.... AND Could you also post the same MCC Part after you reassigned and save.
Logical there MUST be a change here.

E.g.
iconCode:
 <config guid="f5811c6f-0562-4a5f-ac04-ef06a8d5742e">
      <active>true</active>
      <description>Alpha Test</description>
    <settings msdata:InstanceType="MobiFlight.InputConfigItem, MFConnector, Version=9.6.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null" serial="Alpha Flight Controls / JS-ed00f7c0-9a44-11ec-8002-444553540000" name="Button 1" type="Button" xmlns:msdata="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:xml-msdata">
        <button>
          <onPress type="VariableInputAction" varType="number" varName="MyVar" varExpression="$" />
          <onRelease />
        </button>
        <preconditions />
        <configrefs />
      </settings>
    </config>

So that part : <settings msdata:InstanceType="MobiFlight.InputConfigItem, MFConnector, Version=9.6.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null" serial="Alpha Flight Controls / JS-ed00f7c0-9a44-11ec-8002-444553540000" name="Button 1" type="Button" xmlns:msdata="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:xml-msdata">

I expect:
If you compare the "old" File with the new one where you assigned the SAME Button once again by hand..... There must be a change exactly here !
Good Luck !

Yes, when I compare an entry "new" to "old", the entry does appear to have changed:

Old: " serial="FSPCB MCDU / JS-07d12860-4ac6-11eb-8001-444553540000" name="Taste 62" type="Button" (That did not continue to work)
New: " serial="FSPCB MCDU / JS-ede44520-6271-11ed-8004-444553540000" name="Taste 62" type="Button" (It works again)
