Hallo zusammen,

bis jetzt habe ich immer nur 8-Ziffern Displays, die auf dem MAX 7219 basieren gefunden. Hier: http://www.elecrow.com/spi7segdisp4401r-p-562.html gibt es aber scheinbar ein Modul, was nur 4 Ziffern hat.

Daher die Frage: Könnte ich dieses Modul genauso benutzen wie das MAX 7219 Modul im Tutorial? Oder habe ich etwas übersehen?

Kann duir die Frage nicht beantworten aber als Lösung habe ich folgendes gemacht:
Die Segmente entfernt, jeweils Leitungen an die Eingänge gelötet und diese wiederum an die Ziffern. Somit hat man zwei seperate 7 Segment Module.
Klappt super.

Hallo Daniel,
Ich kann es dir nicht zu 100% versprechen aber ich gehe davon aus, dass es kompatibel ist.
Der Max7219 ist für 8 Digits ausgelegt und das Board nutzt eben nur 4. Die Ansteuerung via MobiFlight sollte trotzdem funktionieren.

...aber echt teuere alternative!
Da hat man mit 10min löten das doppelte an Ziffern zur Verfügung. Diese sind dann sogar komplett ohne Board.

Wenn das geht, wie du es beschrieben hast McFly dann mache ich natürlich lieber das. Mag zwar nicht die eleganteste, aber die durchaus günstigere Lösung sein...
