Hi

I'm building a FCU with 3 8-digit 7segment LED displays.
If I daisychain all 3 displays, the second and third run in fail values after 1 sec.
When i remove the hook for the 3rd display in the config, it works for hours without failures.

According to the documentation, it should be possible to daisychain up to 8 modules.

Anybody knows what is wrong here? Do I have to change something on the display pcbs?
I removed the diodes, so all displays get proper 5v.

Must have been a HW-defect.

Changed the second with the third module, now it works flawlessly.

the "defect" one if the only one with a different chipengaving. maybe a other source on amazon than the other modules.

Maybe this solution helps others.
