MobiFlight Community Support

Hi guys, when I want to run MF I get the alert: Sim Connected Ok, waiting for WASM Module (MSFS2020).
How do I resolve this problem.
Your help will be sincerely appreciated.

Do you already installed the WASM Module ?
This is a AddOn for the Sim.... Done by Mobiflight is you confirm the Popup on first installation !

You can do it manually too.
In Mobiflight you go to Settings..... Mouseover MSFS2020 and on the right you say "install WAMS Module"
NOTE: You need a Restart of the Sim and MF before it work !


If this not helps confirm you have just one Sim installed.
In the past we have reports of users who own e.g. the Steam and the MS Store version both. And issue was the wasm is installed in the worng one.

Hi, I'm facing the same issue as Jakes : yellow triangle at the bottom of the page saying "Sim connect ok. Waiting for WASM module(FS2020)"
I have only one FS2020 installation, WASM has been installed along with Mobiflight connector. This is confirmed when clicking "Extras/MSFS2020/install WASM module" : "installed and up to date"
I'm a new Mobiflight user, my Mega2560 has been correctly detected and Mobiflight firmware has been successfully uploaded to it.
At this time I have a blank Mobiflight interface, with a Mobiflight Mega on COM5, totally useless.

I would really appreciate your help, thank you.

Solved : I had actually 2 Community folders, Wasm did install in the wrong one that was located in C:\Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator. Copy/cut to the right Community folder located in Packages etc... did the trick. Thanks to Neil and Tuomas on the Discord MF channel

If you reinstalled MSFS2020, there is a possibility that another new Community folder was created in your disk.
It is possible Mobiflight is installing the wasm module to the old location.
Moving your mobiflight-event-module folder to the correct Community folder location should solve your issue. Be sure to restart msfs2020.
The only sure way I know to find the real Community folder is to open Msfs2020, activate developer mode, find the VFS dialog window, find the option to open the Community folder. The real Community folder will be shown.
