I am trying to find information on the wiring of these boards. Is it wired the same as in SimVim where the 4 address lines are pins 22-25 on the mega? Also can you run 15 of these multiplexers from a single mega? This will be the determination of whether I use SimVim of Mobiflight. I would like to use Mobiflight for added sim compatibility, however I cannot see purchasing hundreds of dollars worth of megas and the potential USB headaches that a large number of Megas present.

Hi Glen !
Welcome to Mobiflight, and greetings to the States !

I think your request is better adressed on our Discord!

Basically MF was build in its own way and own logic. Means 1 Pin for a Device and no "Master-Slave" Logic... Means usage 1,2,10 or 50 Megas instead to the Logic of SimVim that use one Master Board to controll other "clients" via it.

In the past this workes fine. FSX/P3D users work with MF and SimVim Users was happy with there Xplane ( we not support verry deep ourself)
NOW with FS2020 release our basic intentention was to support this Sim and to focus our Software to it (cause in 10 Years i expect 95+% of Homecockpits will work on FS2020 only)
This had the effect that lot of SimVim Users join our community in case SimVim not have the intention (looks so) to also support FS2020 same way.

So we decide to open our Logic a little bit. We allow Shifters and Multiplexers. So we give SimVim guys some tools to migrate. But it was not our intention to rework MF into a way it is 1:1 compatible with SimVim.

Why i recommend Discord!

Therew we have some users (programmers) who think like you. They want more features, like MF is able to give. So they build there own Systems based on MF.
We also support this and looking forward to build in MF a "interface" for custom Users. Means we not change our Mobiflight itself, but we like to build a "door" where users can get the Data they need to feeding there own Firmware extentions with it.

Please join Discord and talk to guys leik "Neil" " Elral" "Tuomas" "Giocc" and many more. (All are also on our Github.. https://github.com/MobiFlight/MobiFlight-Connector
Be a part of it!
Good Luck !
