MobiFlight Community Support

Please help. I have been using Mobiflight on win 7 PC with Xplane 11 and have been impressed. But, today I launched Mobiflight for a new session (after successfully using it all morning) and it just hung in the connection phase. I have tried everything I can think of to fix this, but I may have made things worse. Here is what I tried (in numbered order): 1. [/b][/b]disconnected Arduino board, no change. 2. reconnected Arduino board, no change. 3. Downloaded version 9.4.0, MF-Installer says "Installer has stopped working". Tried downloading new copies several times but no change. 4. deleted everything I could find on PC that seemed related to Mobiflight, then tried MF-Installer, no change. 5. Dug out an old laptop that had win 7 (yes, with dot.framework installed) then tried MF-Installer, still no change.I get "Installer has stopped working".
Now I don't even have the older Mobiflight files on the PC to continue troubleshooting. I would greatly appreciate any help fixing this problem.

I am also having problems connecting to MobiFlight and had successfully been using it earlier today. One thing that I notice on the website is that on Chrome and Edge in Windows 10 it is showing that the connection is not secure and the same happens in Chrome in Windows 7. If the application is trying to connect to the website, this could be contributing to the issues. Same could potentially be happening with the installer.

Looks like a problem with the updater. If you rename MobiFlight-Installer.exe to something else it will skip the update check and run.

Also looks like this sites cert has expired, could be related.

As of yesterday, 6 June 2022, I am having the same problem. Trying to rename the updater, as of 7 June 2022, did not work for me. The program still hangs at start up.
