I have found the event id's for the GNS530 for all of the buttons, but can't find the encoder eventID to change the frequency on the Nav/Com encoder for the GNS530. Does anyone know which id works? I found the eventID for switching from the com to the nav. Using Reality XP GNS530

I was curious and started P3D but the default GPS is a GPS500 and doesn’t come with a COM/NAV capability.
That’s why there are no explicit event IDs available.

The Reality XP documentation states:

The GNS intercepts standard Flight Simulator GPS commands with: Settings Panel | Use Simulator GPS Commands.

GPS_BUTTON1 GNS COM/NAV toggle.
GPS_BUTTON2 GNS COM/NAV coarse up (left outer knob cw).
GPS_BUTTON3 GNS COM/NAV coarse dn (left outer knob ccw).

i just overfly the linked site from Sebastian.....

There is a section (page 16) about the key commands. Looks like you must edit a INI file where you can SET a Key to a function.
If i understand correctly your needed elements (wehre you found no events) are listed..... So it should be possible to set keys for it and simply send those keys via Mobiflight.

Use for example key "x" for "COM_OUTR_CCWrotate outer: COM (ccw)" in that inni file ..... And use for the encoder in Mobiflight for LEFT the Input Typ "KEY" and choose "x" also.
Then every turn should send a "x" and your GPS AddOn should recive it and will turn the virtual knob.

I have stalled with my GNS530 setup because I can't recognise any of the items listed in the dropdown menus as being applicable to the buttons and encoders.

But I can't see anything remotely like them in the Mobiflight dropdown lists.
I tried to extract a list from the FSUIPC console window by clicking buttons on the GPS while my P3D was running but it only responded to keyboard presses, not to the GPS button clicks.
Any guidance available here?
