I’ve read several posts where the author asked how to return an Arduino back into what it was prior to running MF on it. Typical answer is “simply load the "reset-script" in the Arduino IDE and run it”

Exactly how is that done? I cannot find any instructions (here) on how to do it.

Thanks,

Hi

I never read about a "reset script" here in MF.... We always call it "EEPROM Clear" ....
And thats exactly the name of the Sketch in the Arduino IDE.

Open Arduino IDE....
Select the Board ( Chip, Name, Comport)
and use from the Example files the "EEPROM Clear Sketch"
Upload it.
And then the Arduino is back to manifactur State.

Note: MF only write a sketch (firmware) and a Device List (EEPROM) . It not change the Basic Arduino Firmware.
In theory you could also upload just the Blink Sketch.... then EEPROm remains with MF Settings but the Board still work like a new arduino !
Good Luck !

Ok, thanks. I'm pretty sure I worded it as I read it on this forum somewhere.

In any case, I appreciate the instructions.
