Hi everyone. As shown above I am not able to select an input. All tutorials show a different GUI where board and configured devices like "set parkingbrake" can be selected. Of course I have configured and saved input buttons to the Mega.
In my GUI I just cannot configure inputs. I am running version 9.3.1. Thanks for any advice.

Look at the GUI behind the dialog....you are on the tab OUTPUT (LEDs and so on), not on INPUT.

Glaub mir, ich falle auch immer wieder darauf rein.

Genauso gerne genommen, der Klassiker!

Verdammte Axt, wieso geht der Schalter nicht? Wieso brennt die LED nicht?

--> Vergessen das Häkchen in der Spalte "Active" zu setzen....

YES. thats a problem in case all the tutorials are made over time goes by.... So the first tutorials use MF 6.x and are dated from 2016.

We know this is bad.... And the only way to avoid this is to serach ( e.g. on Youtube) for Videos and simply choose the newest one. Best not older then some weeks.
Whatever.... Also 4 Year old tutorials use a little different GUI and maybe there are new features so we can do a element much more efficient today.....
But technical a guid that work 6 years ago can also be used today in same way!

The problematic Spot is a feature from last patch ( 2 weeks ago)
We thought that it is clearly located in the OUTPUT Tab. So we not thought that a user will by fault try to create a INPUT there.
Appology for that !
