I'm using FSX on a Win7 machine.
The display (2 beamers) is run through "ImmersiveDisplay Pro"

Whenever I switch tasks from an active flight session to the MF GUI and want to switch back to the flight session the display is not coming up correctly ( i get a mostly dark display with only some white pixels which look like "moving objects" [cars or the like]). In order to get the simulation back I need to stop the actual flight session.

Is this a normal or at least a known (miss-)behaviour?

Does this happen also when connecting the beamer (without any correction) directly to the PC?

Sorry, can't say. The system was set up before I joined the team and I do hesitate to change that part.
It is a setup around a real cockpit that was used as a simulator before and that is now in a museum.
I brought MF into that system and I do hope that MF is not the problem.

I'm quite sure that MF is not, but i assume it is (at least in combination) the display correcting software.

Maybe it goes out of "sync" or any stable situation if another window than FSX comes in focus.

But you can run MF also on another small computer and connectid over 'WideFS with the FSUIPC running on the simulation PC itself.
(Full licence of FSUIPC required)

E.g. a notebook with a small display would be suitable.

Than the point "loosing focus window" is gone.

Hi

Thats more a question to the "Beamer" and the "ImmersiveDisplay Pro" Support.
Maybe Window Mode is also a Factor here.

Kai's Idea is correct.... But i think runing MF via Payware "WIDEFS", just to prevent this problem is a little overkill !

I would say.... think about the final situation:
If your Setup is finished ( All Configs are done, all switches/Outputs are connected, and correctly set in MF.....
Then there is no longer neednes to open Mobiflight Connector Vissible.
Then MF will work in "AutoRun Mode" and "Auto Hide Mode" .
Means you start it with the Sim ( mostly in a batch file) and MF will start and directly RUN by itself and it is never visible cause it run hidden in the back.

In easy words..... In Final Cockpit you will never need to swap the active Window anymore !

For the Building Process i recommend to work in window mode or with a screen instead of the Beamers.
While programming you not need a 180° Front View !
Good Luck !

....and instead of Batch Mode.....you can utilize FSUIPC to start MF as well.

As using FSUIPC you can tell it to start other programs as well.

E.g. for MF insert in ...\modules\fsuipc4.ini under [PROGRAMS]

RunIf1=CLOSE,D:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Modules\Mobiflight\MFConnector.exe

Hello, please tell me, can the w806 controller on qfn56 (stm32), with the ch340 programmer, work with mobiflight (at least work with the encoder and buttons)?
thank you in advance:)

I don´t think so.

In theory it can be possible if you write your own Firmware code ( or better you rework the Mobiflight Firmware for your own usage)
A Plug and Play is not possible !!
Mobiflight is compatible with Arduino MEGA, UNO and MICRO . All other Controllers are not compatible or need own code and work without garantee and without official support !
Good Luck !

Thanks for the answer, I'll order and try to connect and run, I don't know how to write code.

Let me ask....
If you not already own them.....
Why order a Board that gain a lot of Trouble pretty sure.

Order instead a Arduino MEGA !
100% Compatible.... Supported now and in the future.... Much more Pins .... No electrical Problems in case 5V 800mA ready.

I can understand that somebody who own already a different board have the intention to use it.
But i not understand why a user order anything else like a MEGA. Its clearly the best and perfect board. No reason to buy something else !
Good Luck !

Thanks for all the inputs. I'll follow the advice from @pizman82. It will only be me who is tweaking the system, all the others shouldn't dare to open anything else then the simulation.
