Hi folks,

as reported recently, my motorized trim wheel worked fine with Mobiflight, FSX and FS2020, I went on and proceeded to construct a generic modular throttle quadrant.
It worked fine on its first test. The throttle poti is not yet connected to the sim. I tested the engagement and throttle servos first. I took 20kg RC-servos which can handle quite a bit of a load.




Gears are double helical gears. These have the advantage to self-align and have no significant backlash. All parts have been printed with "Das Filament" PETG.



The next step is to integrate a revised version of the motorized elevator trim module including trim indicator. If possible, I will also include a speed brake lever.
For twin engine aircrafts, the throttle unit may be printed mirrored. For the mirrored throttle I contemplate about integrating a flap control lever.

hi I'm trying to motorize a TQ ... unfortunately I have problems with the configuration .. and strangely I fused 2 servomotors of 25 kg of the SunFounder 60 euros which went up in smoke ..
the problem derives from the fact that once started they always remain live even when they are at rest ...
can you help me to solve the problem?

Hi,

I servi in funzione sono sempre sotto tensione.
I servi da 20KG sono usati solo per muovere e tenere il throttle. Se le leve del throttle sono mosse manualmente, devono essere scollegate meccanicamente dai servi 20KG. Questo viene fatto con un secondo servo da 20KG.

sicuramente non ho capito cosa vuoi dire... potresti spiegarmi meglio quello che intendi??

per ogni leva devo mettere un secondo servo??

stai parlando della frizione?

Sì, è necessario un servo aggiuntivo per ciascuna leva. Questo servo funge da frizione e collega la leva dell'acceleratore al servomotore (servo)

Volker, auch wenns nicht ganz hier her gehört, aber ich habe keine andere Möglichkeit mehr Dich zu erreichen.

Ohne mich einzumischen..... Ihr habt beide DISCORD.
Wollt ihr ernsthaft noch sagen das ihr über Email redet ?

Ich bin auch ein konservativer Mensch und kein Freund von Facebook und CO. Aber meine letzte SMS und EMAIL ist Jahre her!
Ich werde sicher niemals ein TicToc Video machen..... Aber komunizieren tut man 2022 schon über Messenger wie WhatsApp/Discord und nicht mehr mit Papier oder Mail B)

ja, wenn ich mich mit einem Kumpel über ein Thema austauschen und dabei vielleicht auch mehr als nur ein Bild austauschen will, und zwar nicht in Echtzeit sondern asynchron, dann verwende ich Mail. Nothing else.

Beruflich ist das (zumindest bei mir) auch so. Ca. 80% der Kommunikation und des Austausches findet über Mail statt.
Unter anderem aus Compliance-Gründen. Eine Mail habe ich. Punkt. Kann niemand sagen "das habe ich nie gesagt"....äh...ich habs schriftlich.

Das prägt.

Und Whatsapp et.al. haben natürlich ihre Daseisensberechtigung, aber wenns an wirklich professionellen, umfassenden und nachhaltigen (im Sinne von "ich kann noch mal nachsehen") Informationsaustausch geht, sind diese Systeme nicht adäquat.

Auch ich verwende Whatsapp. Privat. Aber z.B. N I E M A L S mit Sprachnachrichten. Boah, wie mir die Dinger auf den Sack gehen.

Ja, liebend Jugend, das nennt man "telefonieren". ;)

Aber für einige andere umfangreichere Themen sind die Messenger einfach gänzlich ungeeignet.

Und hier im Speziellen ging es um eine 1:1 Kommunikation, wo der eine durch technische Probleme nicht mehr erreichbar war. Und ich hatte keine andere Möglichkeit als ihm das hier übers Forum mitzuteilen. Verzeih, wenn wir das Forum als "Notfall-Kommunikation" verwendet haben.

now i have a problem with the spoiler that despite being correctly, at least i think so, configured with the offsets that in theory are 3, in fact with SIOC they were both configured: 0x336 on ground, 0xBCC arm and 0xBD0 control, but despite the fact that once the wheels are on the ground, the spoilers of the aircraft are raised the lever does not want to move. i tried everything... even on prosim...
any ideas?
